Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rehabacademy.ca and any associated courses, services, or content (collectively, the "Service") operated by Rehab Academy. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

"We", "us", and "our" refer to Rehab Academy. "You" refers to the user, visitor, or registered participant accessing our Service.

"Service" refers to our website, course offerings, instructional content, downloadable materials, and any related products or communications.

2. Course Registration and Payment

Course registration is binding upon successful payment. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and Apple Pay.

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change. Applicable taxes are added at checkout where required.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• • Full refund for cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date.
• • 50% credit toward a future cohort for cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date.
• • No refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the course start date.
• • Registrations may be transferred to a different cohort or to another qualifying clinician at no cost up to 14 days before the course start date.

4. Use of the Website

Permission is granted to view materials on our website for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not:

• • Modify, copy, or distribute course materials beyond your personal use.
• • Use materials for any commercial purpose, including reselling or republishing as your own.
• • Attempt to decompile or reverse-engineer any software on this website.
• • Remove copyright or proprietary notations from any materials.
• • Record video or audio of course sessions without express written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including course materials, written guides, frameworks, illustrations, and the Rehab Academy name and logo, is the intellectual property of Rehab Academy and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. Your registration in a course grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own clinical practice and continuing education.

6. Code of Conduct

All course participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward instructors and fellow learners. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour disrupts the learning environment, without refund.

7. Educational Disclaimer

Content is provided for professional educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice for any specific patient. Clinicians are responsible for applying their own clinical judgment and complying with their regulatory college's scope of practice and standards of care.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Rehab Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question.

9. External Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control or endorse these external sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or any damages resulting from their use.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from your use of our Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The current version will always be posted at rehabacademy.ca/terms. Continued use of our Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
